The boots are slightly loose on me in the foot but as I take around a six and a half I had to go up to a 7 but with thick short socks they fit okay. They're snug on my calves and I have pretty slim legs, they're quite stiff so I'm gradually wearing them in so hopefully they will soften down a bit. They're described as knee high but they're a good couple of inches below my knees. They look good and they do appear to be waterproof. The soles are quite chunky but I think they'll be fine for walking the dog in wet weather. They're a nice deep brown colour. They look much nicer than wellies so they're a keeper for me.
